Window Media Screenshot

Have you guys ever tried to take a screenshot of a DVD / Video file playing on Windows Media Player, and when you "prt -scn" it a black box comes out, rather than the image? Well here is the solution to that problem! It took me a while to figure out:
  1. open you windows media player
  2. go to tools>options>performance
  3. in the performance section, click "Advanced" under "video acceleration
  4. uncheck the "Use Overlays"

Real Media Screenshot

  1. go to tool > preferences > Hardware
  2. in the Video Card Compatibility, move the bar from "Best Performance" to "Most Reliable"
  3. NOTE: It is advised that after screenshots you move it back to the original setting for best media performance :)
That's it! So simple so easy eh?
