Affiliation Musts

Here is an editorial on what I feel is a must for affiliation.

A link is obviously required when you are in an affiliation with another site. It would be a good idea to give at least a text link on the main page, or at least a link that directs visitors to the Affiliation link page.

Since Affiliation is more than just a comment buddy, it would be cool to not only just comments, but send little picture gifts from time to time, or maybe an email just saying Hi :)

Nevertheless, comment, comment comment. I always make sure I have commented on all my affies before I start finding other sites to comment on. It is important to establish the difference between regular random comment plugger and affiliation.

One should keep the email addresses of their affiliates in their email addressbook. :)

BE FRIENDLY! and Don't leave your affiliates hanging by just changing websites without telling them.
