Splash Page Musts

There are a few things that I think MUST be placed on the splash page (If you decide to have one), but do correct me if I'm wrong.

The title of your website-no brainer.. hehe

Screen Resolutions of your layout - So visitors can find out if they are able to view your layout the way you want them to be viewed.

A Link to your host- (If you have one) It is always a sign of gratitude or appreciation, and it is just courtesy if you link them on your main page, seen as they lent you a room in their house for you to design.

Counter or Extreme Tracker- It would be always nice to see where your visitors come from and how many you have wouldn't it?

Your current listings at award or review sites-That way it would be easy for the website to locate your banner. You can make a section for Awards and Reviews after it is done.

Optional Ideas

Tagboard- Visitor can do something interactive on the splash page

Random Quotes- Plain fun

A Section for new updates- if you don't want to put that in your main layout

cliques, Joinings, Listed at's, Affiliates
